Job summary

Sunblink is recruiting for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a market-leading structural steel contractor with a strong reputation for delivering prestigious UK steelwork projects. The role offers potential hybrid working across Derby, Nottingham & Leicester and a clear path for progression within a supportive, experienced commercial team.

With a minimum of 1 year in a QS/assistant QS role and experience in steel/subcontracting, you will bring strong commercial awareness, detail-oriented

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in QS/Assistant QS.
• Experience within structural steel, steelwork, subcontracting or construction.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ambitious to develop career within a leading contractor.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily QS tasks under senior QS guidance.
• Support cost reporting and contract administration activities.
• Contribute to delivery on landmark UK steelwork projects and programmes.
• Collaborate with the commercial team to drive project success.

I'm recruiting on behalf of a market-leading structural steel contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering some of the UK's largest, most prestigious and technically challenging steelwork projects.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor with at least 1 year's experience to join an established and highly experienced commercial team, with excellent opportunities to develop your skills and progress your career.
