Are you looking to kickstart or grow your career in quantity surveying within a supportive and forward-thinking team? Our client, a leader in fire protection and safety systems, is on the lookout for a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding commercial team.

Your Role:

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will work closely with our Senior QS and Commercial Managers to support all aspects of cost management across projects. Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Assisting with project valuations, variations, and cost reporting
2. Preparing tender documents, contracts, budgets, and bills of quantities
3. Supporting procurement of subcontractors and materials
4. Monitoring project progress and ensuring financial efficiency
5. Helping ensure compliance with contractual terms and health & safety standards

What We're Looking For:

• A degree in Quantity Surveying
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role is advantageous, but graduates are welcome to apply
• Excellent numeracy and analytical skills
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A keen eye for detail and a willingness to learn
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with estimating/QS software is a plus
• Full UK driving licence
