Job summary

KM Recruitment is seeking an Assistant Quality Manager to lead teaching and learning quality across multiple centres. You will drive improvements in assessment, behaviour, and learner outcomes while ensuring alignment with client values and procedures.

The role requires a Level 5 Teaching Qualification and eligibility for IQA accreditation, with proven ability to inspire and manage teaching staff. Centre-based, full-time permanent position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised Level 5 Teaching Qualification.
• Hold – or be willing to work towards – a recognised IQA qualification.
• Experience of managing curriculum development, quality systems, processes and the performance of education staff.
• Ability to inspire, lead and motivate teaching staff and learners.

Responsibilities

• Drive forward the centre quality, performance and improvements across teaching and learning, assessment and behaviours for Vocational, Employability and Functional Skills.
• Oversee induction of learners and allocation to classes.
• Advocate for client values and procedures across teaching and learning.
• Undertake quality assurance of teaching, neurodiversity and reading processes.
• Maintain the quality toolkit and ensure information is reported and shared.

Duties:

• Responsible fordriving forward the education centresquality,performance and improvements acrossteaching and learning, assessment and behaviours, for their Vocational, Employability and Functional Skills provisions.
• Overseeing the induction of learners, and allocation to classes.
• Be an advocate for our client’s values and procedures across all areas of teaching and learning.
• Undertakequalityassurance of teaching, neurodiversity and reading processes.
• Responsible for maintaining thequalitytoolkit to ensure it remains up to date and information is reported and shared.
• Support and coach teachingstaff towards improving and developing teaching practice – ensuring action plans for teaching and learning are achieved
• Coordinate and deliver CPD
• Deliver induction training to new starters within the teaching department.
• Carry out thorough reviews throughout the yearfollowing observations, self-assessments,identifiedtrends andfeedback etc.
• Deputise for the EducationManageras required.
