Job summary

Total Facilities Recruitment Limited is seeking an Assistant Quality Manager in Stafford for a 6-month contract. Monday to Friday 8am-4pm, ASAP start. Salary equivalent to £37,000 with a day rate of £142.31. You will support the Quality Manager with site inspections and reporting on quality across the contract.

The role requires inspecting works, recording findings, updating quality records, and collaborating with operational teams to improve quality and ensure standards are met.

Qualifications

• Experience working in highways, construction or a similar environment.
• Good attention to detail.
• Able to use Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Good communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out quality inspections on completed and ongoing works.
• Visit sites to check work is completed to the required standard.
• Record inspection results accurately.
• Take photographs and gather evidence.
• Update spreadsheets and quality records.
• Produce simple reports showing inspection findings.
• Report any quality issues to the Quality Manager.
• Follow up on actions where improvements are required.
• Work with operational teams to help improve quality.
• Attend meetings when required.
• Follow company health, safety and quality procedures.
