Job summary
Skilled Careers in Stratford-upon-Avon is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a well‑established construction and property services contractor on a major refurbishment programme. You will work alongside an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support commercial management across residential properties.
The role covers cost control, procurement, valuations, and contract administration, with exposure to CVRs and management accounts while collaborating with the wider Commercial and
Qualifications
- Experience as a Quantity Surveying / Assistant QS / Graduate QS.
- Strong numerical and organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to analyse and interpret commercial data and prepare CVRs / cost reports.
- Good communication and negotiation skills; driving licence is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support the Quantity Surveyor with day‑to‑day commercial management of projects.
- Maintain accurate and timely commercial information and monitor costs.
- Assist with valuations, applications and cost control on planned works.
- Support subcontractor onboarding, procurement and administration of SOR.
