Job summary

Meriton Associates Ltd is supporting a well-established construction contractor by recruiting an Assistant Quantity Surveyor. The role focuses on cost management, valuations, procurement support and subcontractor coordination across 2–3 live projects.

You will work alongside a Senior QS and Contracts Manager, developing your career in a stable, professional business with clear progression and exposure to varied schemes.

Qualifications

Assistant Quantity Surveyor – £30,000 to £45,000 + Package

Location: M3–M25 Corridor

Meriton Associates are supporting a well-established construction contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality new build, fit-out and refurbishment projects across the region. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.

The Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Assistant QS looking to develop their career within a stable, professional business. You’ll support the commercial function across multiple live projects, typically managing cost control, valuations, procurement support and subcontractor coordination.

You’ll be working closely with an experienced Senior QS and Contracts Manager, gaining exposure to projects ranging from small works through to multi-million-pound schemes.

• Assisting with cost management, reporting and forecasting
