Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is seeking an Assistant Psychologist for the Older Adult Psychology Service across Gwent. The role involves structured assessments and interventions for adults over 65, including neuropsychological assessment, with opportunities to support audit and service development.

The post requires flexibility to travel across team bases or to clients’ homes, and Welsh language ability is desirable though English speakers are welcome.

Qualifications

• Psychology degree with GBR
• Formal training in a psychological intervention (e.g. CBT or DBT)

Responsabilités

• Deliver group-based and individual psychological assessments and interventions.
• Assist qualified Psychologists and Arts Therapies in their roles.
• Deliver neuropsychological assessments with individuals.
• Support data collection and reporting and monitor service delivery outcomes.
• Be involved in departmental service improvement projects.
