An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Psychologist to join our South Warwickshire Community Mental Health Team. The service provides biopsychosocial interventions for individuals with a wide range of mental health presentations. The post will primarily have a focus on working with people with a diagnosis of psychosis as part of the psychosis pathway within the CMHT. However there may also be opportunities to work with people with other mental health presentations. The post holder will join a multi-disciplinary team and work across both of the teams bases located in Leamington Spa and Stratford Upon Avon. The post holder will support the qualified psychologists with psychological assessments and provide low intensity psychological interventions under the supervision of a qualified psychologist. Psychological Professionals staff from the South Warwickshire Service have close links with other psychological professionals in the Trust through peer supervision, service development meetings, specialist interest groups and CPD events. The service regularly offers core and specialist trainee placements as it has strong links with the Coventry and Warwickshire Doctorate in Clinical Psychology Course.
