Job summary

Howdens is expanding its Trade Property team with two Assistant Property Manager roles, one in the Northwest near Liverpool/Manchester and another in the Midlands around Northamptonshire. You will support day-to-day estate management, liaise with landlords, agents and tenants, and help ensure commercial property commitments are optimised for the business.

You should have experience in property or estate management, be capable of managing multiple priorities, and hold a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

Experience in property, estate management or commercial property environment.
Understanding of property legislation and compliance requirements.
Excellent administrative, organisational and data management skills.
Willingness to travel with a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Provide effective day-to-day estate management and support.
Liaise with landlords, managing agents, tenants, solicitors, surveyors and third parties to minimise outgoings.
Act as liaison between landlords and the Trade Division for property matters and ensure swift communication.
Manage licences for alterations to leasehold documentation and ensure lease compliance.
Monitor service charges to minimise liabilities for the portfolio.
Assist with disposal of surplus trade property and maintain accurate records.
