Job summary

Cambridgeshire County Council is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to help deliver projects that improve local communities across our region. You will work with engineers, contractors, councillors and residents to manage programmes, budgets and risks, and to prepare reports and updates.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication and organisational skills, a proactive approach and enjoy solving problems in a collaborative environment, with a genuine interest in making a positive community

  • Work with engineers, contractors, councillors, residents and partner organisations.
  • Help manage project programmes, budgets, risks and timescales.
  • Support public consultations and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Prepare reports and project updates.
  • Gain hands‑on experience in project management and infrastructure delivery.
