Cambridgeshire County Council is seeking an experienced project manager to lead day-to-day management of large-scale and complex projects, establishing teams and ensuring on-time delivery with quality controls.
You will manage risks, dependencies, budgets and reporting for governance, coordinating with Finance, IT, HR, Legal and other services while engaging stakeholders to drive successful change.

You will be an experienced project manager with a strong understanding of project and change management methodologies, tools and techniques, and the ability to apply these in a complex organisational environment. You will bring proven experience of managing projects from initiation through to delivery, coordinating resources, risk management, budget monitoring and delivering sustainable service improvements.
You will be confident working across organisational boundaries, able to build strong professional relationships and influence a wide range of stakeholders. You will be comfortable analysing complex information, translating ideas into practical plans, andprovidingclear advice and reporting to support good decision making.
You will have excellent communication, planning and organisational skills, with high standards of accuracy and the ability to work to tight deadlines. You will be resilient, collaborative and proactive, with the confidence to constructively challenge, hold others to account and support colleagues to deliver their best.
