Assistant Project Manager (Residential Construction - Refurbishment & New Build) - SW London - £35,000

Our client is a Bespoke Residential Developer seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join their team and support the Director. Based in SW London, they manage multiple residential refurbishment projects across London, focusing on high-quality, bespoke co-living sites.

This is a hands-on role working closely with the Director, assisting in project delivery, planning, and oversight, with opportunities to take on more responsibility over time.

Responsibilities
  1. Oversee and participate in the delivery of residential refurbishment projects, initially 6-10 units, with growth to 60-90 units.
  2. Assist in defining project scope and objectives.
  3. Plan and manage project resources effectively.
  4. Help prepare budgets based on scope and resource needs.
  5. Monitor project costs to ensure budget adherence.
  6. Develop and manage detailed project schedules and work plans.
  7. Attend meetings, take notes, and provide regular progress updates to the Director.
  8. Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed.
Requirements
  • A construction-related degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 1 year of practical experience on a construction site (new build or refurbishment).
  • A valid driving license.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant computer skills.
