Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to lead elements of the life cycle delivery for HPC contracts. You will report to the Service Manager and oversee engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, and handover activities to align with the project schedule.

You will collaborate with the Project/Service Manager and Utilities Delivery Leads to ensure planning and delivery meet safety, quality, time, and cost targets for the project.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral presentation skills with ability to interact with senior managers.
• People management skills and ability to build relationships across multidisciplinary groups.
• Strong analytical capabilities including budget analysis and forecasting.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight timeframes.
• Attention to detail and ability to work individually.

Responsibilities

• Assist and work under supervision on tasks required to support the Project Manager’s delivery of the project and contract scope for HPC.
• Liaise with key teams within NNB to support delivery of project scope.
• Support the use of management systems for planning and document control within the Project Controls Department.
• Help ensure compliance with approved NNB procedures.
• Develop relationships with key statutory stakeholders for the HPC project.
• Under supervision, project manage delivery of documents for ONR L4 meetings and overall planning schedules.
• Maintain a full, auditable archive of project decisions.
