Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to lead and support the full lifecycle delivery of the HPC contracts. You will report to the Service Manager and coordinate engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction and handover activities in line with the project schedule.

You will work with the Project/Service Manager and Utilities Delivery Leads to ensure planning, safety, quality, time and cost targets are met, maintaining auditable project records and supporting ONR L4 meetings as

Qualifications

Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
People management skills with ability to build relationships and work with multidisciplinary teams.
Analytical skills including budget analysis and forecasting.
Able to cope under pressure and tight timescales.
Strong attention to detail in individual work.

Responsibilities

Assist and work under supervision to support the Project Manager's delivery of HPC scope.
Interface with key teams within NNB to support project delivery.
Support management systems for planning, document control and quality.
Ensure compliance with approved NNB procedures.
Develop relationships with key statutory stakeholders for HPC.
Under supervision, project manage documents for ONR L4 meetings and overall Planning Schedule.
Maintain an auditable archive of project decisions and history.
