Zusammenfassung

WSP is recruiting an Assistant Project Manager for the Local Government Team in Gloucester. The role involves delivering Highways, Structures and Geotech projects, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, and supporting design and procurement activities.

You will be based in Gloucester, with hybrid working and an expectation of three days in the office each week to stay connected with the client and team, while leveraging resources nationwide.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in managing a range of project management activities and processes.
• Strong understanding of commercial and financial project management.
• Excellent organisational and communications skills.
• Experience producing programmes using MS Project or similar software.
• Progress towards professional status through recognised institutions (e.g., APM).

Aufgaben

• Coordinate multi-disciplinary project and design teams through feasibility, design, procurement and construction support stages.
• Collaborate with highways, drainage, structures, traffic, construction and other technical specialists.
• Support technical approvals, design reviews, design assurance, CDM, H&S, QA and technical review processes.
• Assist with design-related activities, surveys, design drawings, site measures and risk reviews.
• Monitor design programmes and manage interfaces between design, client, stakeholder and construction activities.
• Lead and support project management processes including planning, scope, fees, risk, and reporting.
• Develop project management plans and produce weekly/monthly progress and project control reports for client and wider business.
• Coordinate inputs across WSP teams and remote colleagues in the UK and overseas.
• Build relationships with clients, partners and stakeholders and manage project commercials and change control.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to required quality, safety and technical standards.
