  • Supporting the management of technical approvals, design reviews, design assurance, CDM, H&S, QA and technical review requirements.
  • Supporting design-related activities where appropriate, including progressing surveys, design drawings, site measures, early risk reduction reviews, statutory undertaker information and related technical coordination tasks.
  • Monitoring design programmes and managing interfaces between design, client, stakeholder and construction activities.
  • Leading and supporting project management processes, including project planning, scope definition, fee estimates, risk analysis, roles and responsibilities, and regular reporting.
  • Developing project management plans and producing weekly/monthly progress and project control reports for the client and wider business.
  • Coordinating multi-disciplinary inputs across projects, including colleagues in other WSP teams and remote teams in the UK and overseas.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, colleagues, delivery partners and key stakeholders.
  • Managing project fees, change control, value engineering/value management and the commercial position of assigned projects.
  • Helping ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality, safety and technical standards.
What we will be looking for you to demonstrate…
  • Experience in managing a range of project management activities, systems and processes.
  • A good understanding of commercial and financial project management.
  • Sound organisational skills and excellent communications skills.
  • Experience in producing programmes using MS Project or similar software.
  • Achieved, or working towards, professional status through the Association for Project Management or similar professional institution.
