Job summary

Bovis is recruiting an Assistant Project Manager in the United Kingdom to support the development and implementation of the project execution plan. You will assist in coordinating RFIs, schedules, and cost tracking with the commercial team.

You'll monitor weekly progress against the short-term programme, manage site logistics with subcontractors, and help ensure health and safety compliance across the project.

Qualifications

• Professional Construction Qualifications relevant to the role.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to prepare reports.
• Ability to work collaboratively to ensure successful project.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills for resolving planning, estimating, contract administration, and procurement issues.
• Working knowledge of site health and safety regulations and procedures.
• Demonstrable intermediate level of role knowledge gained through relevant experience.
• Knowledge of the Construction and Property industries.
• Understanding of estimating, scheduling, field supervision, contracts administration, procurement, financial controls, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in developing and implementing the project execution plan.
• Monitor and report on weekly progress against the short-term programme.
• Manage the project's Request for Information (RFI) and Technical Submission process.
• Coordinate site logistics and delivery schedules with subcontractors. Support the commercial team with tracking cost variations and reporting.
