The M25 is one of our Flagship projects in the UK, serving as the most used part of the UK Strategic Road Network with over 200,000 vehicles daily. It includes around 800 structures and 5 tunnels, requiring high performance, continuous improvement, and repairs to operate smoothly.

We have formed a Joint Venture called Connect Plus Services (CPS) to work with our partners to widen, operate, and maintain the M25 under a 30-year contract. We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated individual with a project background to join this fast-paced team. The role involves delivering lower risk highways and technology schemes, supporting more complex projects, and managing the entire project lifecycle from feasibility to handover. Projects range from £100k to over £3m, including safety, environmental, technology, remedial, and junction improvement schemes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Build strong collaborative relationships with the Portfolio Manager and stakeholders to ensure mutual understanding of project objectives, performance review, and issue resolution.
2. Ensure compliance with the DBFO contract by clarifying roles, resolving risks, producing reports, and maintaining records, including change management.
3. Support the development and implementation of project plans, ensuring activities are well-organized and resourced.
4. Manage projects throughout their lifecycle, from feasibility through design and construction, informing investment proposals.
5. Develop robust cost profiles, identify risks, and quantify resource requirements.
6. Identify, evaluate, and escalate emerging risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints; develop solutions to overcome them.
7. Support the performance management of Framework Contractors and Designers, ensuring clarity of objectives and expectations, especially regarding health and safety, time, and cost.
