Job summary

Bridges - Trusted Intelligent Engineering Partner is recruiting a Project Manager in Maidstone to lead planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects within the Thames Water Framework. The role requires coordination with cross-functional teams, subcontractors and client stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The position supports a hybrid working model with regular site visits to client sites and monthly HQ meetings, requiring strong risk, health and safety governance along

Qualifications

• CDM Awareness (ideally SSSTS or SMSTS)
• CSCS card
• Industry Based qualifications (NVQ/C&G)
• Driving licence
• Industrial engineering experience - ie water industry, MEICA, civils
• Experience in the design and delivery of projects
• Experience in managing CDM sites and working on CDM sites
• Capable of effectively managing more than one project at any one time, depending on complexity
• Capable of effectively managing teams, including employees and subcontractors
• Understanding of project governance procedures and commercial aspects of projects
• Sound knowledge of H&S legislation and regulations

Responsibilities

• Management of staff and subcontractors working on assigned projects
• Taking responsibility for the health & safety of self and all under your control, completion of RAMS
• Creation and management of the appropriate Project Documentation and control of project expenditure within a monthly project reporting structure
• Close liaison and management of the Client and other stakeholders as appropriate
• Proactively manage the impact on and protection of the environment

We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to work on our Thames Water Framework, reporting to our Maidstone office.

With a hybrid working model, ideally you would be willing to commute to the Maidstone office once or twice weekly. You will be expected to travel to HQ at least once a month for project reviews and visit client sites regularly.

Role Overview

As a Project Manager at Bridges, you will oversee the successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects from inception to completion. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. • Southern Water Experience is desirable but not essential
