Job summary

Ripley St Thomas Church of England Academy in Lancaster is seeking an Assistant Progress Leader (Non-Teaching) to join our pastoral team. You will support the Progress Leader to monitor student development, encourage positive behaviour and contribute to a safe, nurturing school community.

The role is 37 hours per week, term time only, with safeguarding duties in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education. Strong communication, teamwork and IT skills are essential to help our students thrive.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication with students, parents and staff.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with young people.
  • Organised with good attention to detail.
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic IT skills for record keeping and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Progress Leader in monitoring student development.

Summary Ripley St Thomas Church of England Academy, Lancaster, iscurrently seeking an Assistant Progress Leader (Non-Teaching) to join our pastoral team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting students’ progress and wellbeing. The successful candidate will work closely with the Progress Leader to help monitor student development, encourage positive behaviour, and contribute to creating a safe and nurturing school community.
