Job summary

Imperial College London invites applications for an academic role in Chemical Engineering based at our South Kensington Campus. You will develop and lead an original programme of research, secure external funding, supervise postdocs and students, publish in leading journals and engage with industry to maximise impact.

The role includes teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, curriculum development, and contribution to assessment.

Qualifications

• PhD in Chemical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Track record of high quality research with publications in leading peer-reviewed journals.
• Developing scientific reputation in your field.
• Experience in raising research funding, supervising students and teaching is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead an original programme of research in chemical engineering addressing scientific and societal challenges.
• Secure external funding, supervise and mentor postdoctoral researchers and students, publish in leading journals and present at international conferences.
• Contribute to teaching and assessment across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes; curriculum development and enhancement of teaching and learning.
