The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine invites applications for an Assistant Professor to support epidemiological research on preventing violence against children and adolescents. The Assistant Professor will support the delivery of epidemiological research on prevention of violence against children and adolescents, including randomised controlled trials and other quantitative and mixed methods studies. This will include evaluating the impact of the Good School Toolkit (GST) Agile at scale in Uganda.
Applicants will have a doctoral degree in the field of public health, psychology, science or other related discipline. Proven experience in quantitative survey data collection, design or analysis, analytical skills in evidence synthesis, quantitative or qualitative analysis. As well as evidence of good organisational skills, including effective time management.
The post is full‑time 35 hours per week, 1.0 FTE and fixed term until 30 April 2028. The post is funded by the Oak Foundation and is available from 01 October 2026.
