Job summary

The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) invites applications for an Assistant Professor to advance epidemiological research on preventing violence against children and adolescents. The post involves randomised trials and mixed methods, with duties spanning design, data analysis and interpretation.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in public health, psychology, science or related discipline.
  • Proven experience in quantitative survey data collection, design or analysis.
  • Analytical skills in evidence synthesis, quantitative or qualitative analysis.
  • Good organisational skills with effective time management.

Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of epidemiological research on prevention of violence against children and adolescents.
  • Lead or contribute to randomised controlled trials and other quantitative or mixed methods studies.
  • Contribute to evaluating the Good School Toolkit (GST) Agile at scale in Uganda.
