Job description

London (currently at least two days a week in the office)

Team: Video
Reports to: Senior Producer
Type: Full-time

We’re looking for an organised, proactive Assistant Producer to help deliver creative video projects from brief through to final delivery.

Working alongside our producer and senior producer, you’lal play a key role in planning productions, managing logistics, coordinating teams and ensuring projects run smoothly. You’ll also have the opportunity to lead smaller projects independently while supporting larger campaigns across live action, animation and post-production.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who already has some production experience and is looking to develop into a Producer.

Here’s what you’ll do…
Project coordination
  • Support Producers in delivering several video projects simultaneously.
  • Take ownership of smaller projects from brief through to delivery.
  • Create production schedules, timelines and project plans.
  • Make sure projects remain on track against deadlines and budgets.
  • Maintain project documentation throughout.
Pre-production
  • Help with creative development and production planning.
  • Find crew, freelancers, locations and suppliers.
  • Get quotes and negotiate costs.
  • Prepare call sheets, production schedules, risk assessments and release forms.
  • Arrange travel, accommodation and logistics.
  • Coordinate casting.
Production
  • Go to shoots as part of the production team.
  • Manage production logistics on set.
  • Act as a key point of contact for crew, contributors and suppliers.
  • Make sure productions run safely, efficiently and to schedule.
  • Resolve production challenges quickly and calmly.
  • Coordinate edits between editors and clients.
  • Manage review and approval processes.
  • Track feedback and make sure revisions are made.
  • Oversee delivery of final assets across formats.
  • Help with music licensing and stock footage sourcing.
Client and team communication
  • Build positive relationships with clients throughout production.
  • Go to project meetings and take detailed notes.
  • Keep clients informed with regular project updates.
  • Work collaboratively with creatives, designers, editors and account teams.
Budget management
  • Help with creating production budgets.
  • Raise purchase orders and manage production costs.
  • Track project spend against budget.
  • Process supplier invoices and reconcile project costs.
About you

You’ll already have experience supporting productions, preferably with B2B experience, and understand how a production comes together from planning through to delivery.

You’re calm under pressure, highly organised and enjoy balancing creative thinking with practical problem solving. You’ll be someone who naturally takes ownership, communicates confidently and enjoys working with people.

  • Experience in a production role within an agency, production company or in-house team.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Experience coordinating shoots and production logistics.
  • Good understanding of commercial production workflows.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Experience with project management software.
And ideally you’ll have…
  • Experience producing smaller commercial projects independently.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and production finance.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Experience using Frame.io or similar review platforms.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Experience across live action, animation and motion graphics.
What you’ll gain
  • The opportunity to work on a wide variety of creative projects and campaigns.
  • Increased ownership of productions as your experience grows.
  • Mentoring from experienced Producers.
  • Exposure to every stage of commercial production.
  • A clear pathway towards a Producer role.

Within your first year, you’ll be confidently leading smaller productions independently, while becoming an indispensable support on larger campaigns. You’ll be trusted to manage clients, coordinate crews, oversee budgets and keep projects moving with minimal supervision.

As your experience grows, you’ll naturally progress towards taking full ownership of larger, more complex productions.
