Job summary

Definition in London seeks an experienced agency producer to shape ideas and brilliantly produce both live-action and animation. You’ll own projects from first conversation to final delivery, building trusted client relationships and delivering outstanding work across multiple formats.

You’ll collaborate with strategists, creatives, editors, motion designers and external partners to bring ambitious ideas to life.

Qualifications

  • Experience producing video within a creative, brand, marketing or content agency.
  • Experience delivering work for B2B organisations.
  • Proven experience across both live action and animation projects.
  • Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong creative instincts.
  • Experience developing creative responses rather than simply managing delivery.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Experience managing production budgets, schedules and external suppliers.
  • Confident presenter with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative mindset and enthusiasm to produce great creative work.
  • Ideally: experience contributing to pitches and winning new business.
  • Understanding of animation and motion design workflows.
  • Interest in future of content creation and production.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the wider team to develop video solutions.
  • Spot opportunities where video can help client challenges.
  • Shape the continued growth of the Video team.
  • Champion smarter production workflows and integrate AI where beneficial.

Reports to: Senior Producer
Type: Full-time

This isn’t a traditional producer role. We’re looking for someone who can think creatively as well as produce brilliantly. Someone who enjoys shaping ideas, building trusted client relationships and delivering outstanding work across both live action and animation.

You’ll own projects from first conversation through to final delivery, working alongside our Senior Producer, strategists, creatives, editors, motion designers and external production partners to bring ambitious ideas to life.

You’ll also play an important role in how we continue evolving our production model.

AI is already embedded throughout our workflow, from research and concept development to production planning, editing and content adaptation – and we’re looking for someone who’s excited to explore new ways of working while maintaining the highest creative standards.

Here’s what you’ll do…
Lead brilliant productions
  • Own projects from brief through to delivery.
  • Translate client challenges into compelling creative approaches.
  • Develop treatments, concepts, scripts and production plans.
  • Produce live-action shoots from pre-production through to post.
  • Lead animation projects alongside our motion design team.
  • Make sure every project is delivered on time, on budget and to an exceptional standard.
Build trusted client relationships
  • Become a trusted adviser to clients throughout the creative process.
  • Facilitate creative conversations and brainstorm sessions.
  • Present ideas with confidence and credibility.
  • Manage multiple stakeholders across complex B2B organisations.
  • Identify opportunities to expand client relationships through great work.
Help grow the business
  • Contribute to creative pitches and new business proposals.
  • Work with the wider agency to develop compelling video solutions.
  • Spot opportunities where video can help solve client challenges.
  • Help shape the continued growth of the Video team.
Drive innovation
  • Champion smarter production workflows across the team.
  • Confidently integrate AI tools where they improve creativity, speed or efficiency.
  • Stay curious about emerging technologies and evolving production techniques.
  • Help define what modern video production looks like inside Definition.
About you

You’re an experienced agency producer who loves working in production.

You’re commercially aware, creatively curious and thrive on helping clients solve problems through great storytelling. You’re a natural problem solver.

You’re equally comfortable presenting a creative idea to your team and to your client, producing a location shoot, or briefing an animator.

Most importantly, you’re someone who takes ownership. You care about the quality of the work and the experience clients have working with us.

  • Good experience producing video within a creative, brand, marketing or content agency.
  • Strong experience delivering work for B2B organisations.
  • Proven experience across both live action and animation projects.
  • Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
