Assistant Procurement Manager (FFE & Construction) – Global Restaurant Group - £40K + Benefits

My client is a leading global restaurant group with a fantastic reputation. Their portfolio of unique restaurants gives them a distinct edge within the industry, and they are seeking talented individuals to join their team and support their ambitious growth plans.

They are currently hiring an Assistant Procurement Manager to assist their Procurement and Logistics team across global projects, focusing on FFE & Construction duties. This role offers the opportunity to work on iconic, bespoke projects from concept to completion and to be part of a successful, expanding company.

Responsibilities include:

1. Collaborate with teams and suppliers to process FF&E & Construction orders.
2. Organize shipping and logistics within the UK, EU, and internationally; prepare import/export documentation and manage storage as needed.
3. Coordinate with contractors and design teams for FF&E installation, resolving snagging or delivery issues.
4. Maintain schedules, budgets, and timelines to optimize the supply chain.
5. Assist the design team in establishing supplier trade accounts.

The Ideal Candidate:

1. Strong understanding of procurement and logistics processes and costs.
2. Knowledge of FF&E materials, quantities, and suppliers.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office, InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop.
4. Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
5. Pragmatic problem-solver.
6. Excellent communication skills in multiple languages and negotiation abilities.
7. Willingness to travel as needed.
