Cedar Recruitment is recruiting for an Assistant Procurement Manager in London for a public sector role with hybrid working. You will lead end-to-end procurement projects, develop category strategies and drive savings while ensuring PA23 compliance.

You will engage senior stakeholders, mentor two junior professionals and deliver value for money, efficiency and social value across the organisation.

Formación

• Recent UK Public Sector procurement experience.
• Strong knowledge of PA23 and public procurement legislation.
• Experience delivering savings on complex procurements.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• MCIPS qualification, working towards or willing to study towards the qualification.

Assistant Procurement Manager - Public Sector

London | Up to £60,000 | Permanent | Hybrid

A leading London based public sector organisation is looking to appoint 2 Assistant Procurement Managers to join its established team, supporting either the People or Place category.

The successful person will lead end to end procurement projects, develop category management strategies and drive savings and value for money across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end procurement projects of up to c.£3m, ensuring compliance with PA23.
• Develop category strategies and identify commercial savings.
• Lead high-value and complex procurements, including tendering and contract awards.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders and provide commercial advice.
