Cedar in London is recruiting two Assistant Procurement Managers to support the Public Sector People or Place category. The role focuses on leading end-to-end procurement projects, ensuring PA23 compliance, and delivering value for money.

The successful candidates will develop category strategies, drive savings, and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders while mentoring two junior procurement professionals. Hybrid working in London offers security and growth.

Formación

• Public sector procurement experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of PA23 and public procurement legislation.
• Experience delivering savings and value for money.

A leading London based public sector organisation is looking to appoint 2 Assistant Procurement Managers to join its established team, supporting either the People or Place category.

The successful person will lead end to end procurement projects, develop category management strategies and drive savings and value for money across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end procurement projects of up to c.£3m, ensuring compliance with PA23.
• Develop category strategies and identify commercial savings.
• Lead high-value and complex procurements, including tendering and contract awards.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders and provide commercial advice.
• Manage and develop two junior procurement professionals.
• Drive value for money, efficiency and social value.
