Cedar Recruitment is seeking two Assistant Category Managers for a London-based Public Sector client. The roles are permanent, offering £56,000 to £60,000 per annum, plus a Public Sector Pension and 27 days of annual leave plus Bank Holidays.

The position is hybrid, with on-site work 3 days per week. Reporting to the Category Manager, you will oversee two junior resources and manage end-to-end procurements to ensure value for money and PA23 compliance.

Formación

• Experience in UK Public Sector procurement, category or contract management.
• Completion of PA23 training.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Track record of delivering savings and value for money in the Public Sector; exposure to frameworks would be advantageous.
• MCIPS qualification or progress toward MCIPS is desirable.

Cedar are supporting a Public Sector client based in London who are looking for 2 x Assistant Category Managers. These roles are permanent job opportunities offering a salary ranged from £56,000 up to £60,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus benefits which include a Public Sector Pension and 27 days annual leave (plus Bank Holidays). This role will operate on a hybrid basis with the expectation to be on-site 3 days per week.

Reporting into the Category Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing 2 x junior resource and you will be responsible for managing end to end procurements assigned to ensure value for money and compliance with PA23 is achieved on all requirements engaged.

Candidates applying MUST HAVE:

• recent experience working in a similar role in the UK Public Sector marketplace i.e. a role in Procurement, Commercial, Category or Contract Management
• completion of PA23 training
• strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• track record of delivering savings (value for money) and compliance in the Public Sector - ideally exposure to using Frameworks and running Open Procedure procurements would be advantageous
• ideally MCIPS qualified or working towards MCIPS status
