Job summary

Morgan Jones Recruitment's client, a leading Further Education provider in South East London, seeks an Assistant Principal to lead Study Programmes and HE across 16–19 provision across its campuses, during a period of growth and sector transformation.

You will drive teaching, learning and assessment, oversee English, maths and tutorial provision, lead quality improvement, manage staffing and budgets, and strengthen employer engagement with local employers and partners.

Qualifications

  • Significant leadership experience in FE or equivalent educational setting.
  • Curriculum planning and quality improvement expertise.
  • Strong understanding of FE funding, qualifications and compliance.
  • Recognised teaching qualification.
  • Degree-level education.
  • Evidence of continued professional development.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and analytical skills.
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the strategic development of Study Programmes across multiple campuses.
  • Driving outstanding teaching, learning and assessment outcomes.
  • Supporting curriculum innovation aligned to local and regional skills needs.
