Job summary

Wybers Wood Academy in Grimsby is seeking an Assistant Principal to join in January 2027 on a full-time, permanent basis. You will sit on the Senior Leadership Team and deputise for the Head of Academy in their absence.

You will lead as a highly effective classroom practitioner, modelling outstanding practice while monitoring provision, inclusion and achievement for all pupils. Wybers Wood is a Good school aspiring to Outstanding within Delta Academies Trust.

Qualifications

• Experience leading in a primary school setting.
• Evidence of high-quality teaching and learning.
• Ability to model outstanding practice and lead improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Senior Leadership Team and deputise for the Head of Academy.
• Drive inclusion and achievement across the academy.
• Monitor provision and CPD across staff and departments.
• Represent the academy within the Delta Academies Trust.
