Job summary

Woodlands Academy in Grimsby is seeking a Class Teacher (Primary) to inspire learning across KS1 and KS2. This part-time role (0.5 fte) offers a nurturing environment within Harbour Learning Trust and a competitive MPS 1-6 salary scale.

You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, support emotional and safeguarding needs, and collaborate with a supportive team to drive high standards. Start date January 2027 and reports to the Principal.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant undergraduate degree.
• Experience teaching in a primary environment across KS1 and KS2.
• Secure understanding of the subjects and curriculum areas you teach.
• Deep understanding of safeguarding procedures and well-being of young people.

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach well-organised lessons for primary students across KS1 and KS2.
• Develop emotional skills to support high‑quality teaching and learning.
• Use diverse strategies and eLearning tools to meet learner needs.
• Create a safe, purposeful learning environment compliant with safeguarding.
