Ormiston Latimer Academy in Kensington & Chelsea is seeking an experienced Assistant Principal (SENDCo) to join the senior leadership team. You will oversee and line manage the Special Resource Base, shaping inclusion and ensuring EHCP entitlement while maintaining a teaching timetable.

We are looking for a qualified teacher with success in inner-city schools, experience with ASD/SEMH, and strong SEND knowledge.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified teacher with a track record in inner-city schools.
• Experience supporting young people with ASD and SEMH needs.
• Up-to-date knowledge of SEND policy and practice.

Aufgaben

• Lead whole-school SEND strategy and oversee assessments and observations.
• Design and deliver interventions and build individual support plans.
• Coach and train colleagues to embed SEND practice across classrooms.
• Line-manage the new Special Resource Base and contribute to leadership as a deputy safeguarding lead.
