Job summary

Schroders is recruiting an Assistant Portfolio Manager for its Cazenove Capital wealth management team in Oxford. You will work alongside Portfolio Managers, learning the foundations of investment, client servicing, and portfolio management while supporting day-to-day activities and client meetings.

You will be involved in reviewing investments, preparing client materials, and assisting with portfolio updates, all while upholding Schroders' standards of excellence, integrity and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Support Portfolio Managers and Directors to manage clients' portfolios in line with their investment wishes and regulations.
• Develop relationships of trust with clients and respond to enquiries in a timely manner.
• Help plan, organise and attend client meetings and prepare materials.

Responsibilities

• Assist Portfolio Managers with portfolio investment considerations and, with their approval, implement changes.
• Contribute to portfolio suitability assessments and performance reviews.
• Carry out trades and monitor transaction statements and outstanding deals.
