Job summary

Cazenove Capital, the private clients wealth arm of Schroders, is seeking a Portfolio Director to grow and manage a portfolio of high‑net‑worth clients in Manchester. You will provide strategic investment advice, lead a team of investment professionals, and ensure exceptional client service.

Role requires a Bachelor’s in finance/economics, with CFA/CFP desirable, and at least 10 years in wealth or investment management. Strong communication and regulatory knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or related field.
• CFA/CFP or equivalent professional qualification is highly desirable.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in wealth or investment management with a track record of managing high‑net‑worth portfolios.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships and mentor teams.
• In-depth knowledge of financial markets, investment strategies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with high‑net‑worth clients and tailor investment solutions.
• Develop and implement bespoke investment strategies aligned with client objectives and risk tolerance.
• Conduct market research to inform decisions and provide insights.
