Job summary

The Planner Jobs Redactive Publishing Limited is seeking an Assistant Planner in Bedfordshire to support a growing planning consultancy. You will gain exposure to a broad range of projects and take ownership of your workload with guidance from senior colleagues.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of planning experience, are working towards RTPI chartership, and can work independently with strong communication skills while holding a UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years planning experience in public or private sector.
• Working towards RTPI chartership.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications.
• Undertaking planning research and policy reviews.
• Preparing reports, supporting statements, and planning appraisals.
• Liaising with local authorities, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Managing your own workload and progressing projects with support from the team.
