PropSource Consulting in the United Kingdom is seeking an Assistant Planner or Planner to join their team, offering exposure to a broad range of planning work from residential developments to planning policy and infrastructure projects. You will gain valuable experience and have the chance to work toward your RTPI chartership.
The role delivers a very competitive salary up to £37k, with two bonus schemes based on individual and company performance.
A well established, independent planning consultancy with an excellent reputation, built on consistently delivering high quality work and developing long standing client relationships. Much of their business comes through repeat clients and word of mouth recommendations, reflecting the quality of their work and the reputation they've built over the years.
Working across an incredibly varied range of planning disciplines, from prestigious residential developments and strategic land to five year housing land supply, planning policy, commercial, mixed use and infrastructure projects, there's very little they can't turn their hand to. They're now looking for a Assistant Planner or Planner to join their team, offering a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to a broad range of planning work.
Ideally, you'll have around 1 - 2 years of planning experience and be keen to work towards your RTPI chartership. They're looking for someone who is self-sufficient, proactive and ambitious, with the confidence to take ownership of their work and a genuine desire to develop their career.
What really sets this opportunity apart is the level of exposure and responsibility you'll be given from the outset. You'll have the chance to build relationships with clients, attend meetings and get involved in a breadth of projects that you might not ordinarily experience at this stage of your career.
It's also a consultancy that genuinely invests in its people. Whether you have a particular area of planning you'd like to specialise in, a qualification you want to work towards or a longer term career goal, they're open minded and supportive of ambitions. There are people within the business who have progressed from administrative roles right through to Senior Planner positions, and their excellent staff retention speaks volumes about the environment they've created.
