Job summary

Sizewell C is seeking an experienced Assistant Payroll Manager to own a complex payroll function for a major national project. You’ll lead payroll delivery, ensure compliance, drive systems improvements, and support stakeholders while shaping future payroll operations.

Working closely with the Payroll, Pensions & Reward Manager, you’ll manage day-to-day payroll activities, ensure timely payments, manage reconciliations, and provide guidance.

Qualifications

• Significant experience working in an in-house payroll function.
• Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and HMRC requirements.
• Experience leading end-to-end payroll processes and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing activities.
• Ensure accurate, on-time payroll delivery and compliance.
• Lead on system improvements and payroll governance.
• Provide expert payroll guidance to stakeholders and audits.
