Job summary

Sizewell C Limited is seeking an Assistant Payroll Manager to lead day-to-day payroll operations for a large, complex project. You will ensure accurate, timely payroll delivery, maintain controls, and support system enhancements while collaborating with the Payroll, Pensions & Reward Manager and key stakeholders across the business.

The role requires strong in-house payroll experience, solid knowledge of UK HMRC requirements, and expertise with SAP Payroll or SAP SuccessFactors.

Qualifications

• Significant experience working in an in-house payroll function.
• Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, HMRC requirements and statutory payments.
• Experience managing end-to-end payroll processes and complex payroll transactions.
• Excellent payroll reconciliation, validation and reporting skills.
• Experience using payroll and HR systems SAP Payroll or SAP SuccessFactors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day payroll processing and delivery.
• Maintain robust controls and reconciliations across payroll.
• Provide payroll governance support and audit readiness.
• Deputise for Payroll Manager when required.
• Lead payroll-related projects and system enhancements.
• Produce payroll reporting and MI for stakeholders.
