Perfect Placement UK Ltd on behalf of its Weston-super-Mare-based client, a leading independent automotive parts retailer, is seeking an experienced Assistant Parts Centre Manager to drive daily branch operations and sales growth.

You will manage a team of around 10, develop customer relationships, handle high-volume calls, and work with internal teams to improve margins. Candidates should have recent automotive parts or telesales supervisory experience and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Recent or current experience within automotive trade parts, telesales, or a similar supervisory/management role.
• Live within reasonable commuting distance to Weston-super-Mare.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the branch, managing a team of approximately 10 staff including Parts Sales Advisors, Drivers, and Warehouse Operatives.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, focusing on sales growth, margin improvements, and delivering exceptional service.
• Handle high volume inbound and outbound calls, ensuring proactive engagement with customers.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams to meet customer requirements and enhance product knowledge.
• Use business data to identify growth opportunities within different customer segments and product categories.
• Support the Centre Manager in achieving operational targets and ensure team performance standards are maintained.
