Job summary

Stock Exchange Hotel in Manchester is seeking an Assistant Night Manager to support nightly operations from 23:00 to 07:30, ensuring guest safety and service excellence. You will assist with reception, switchboard, porterage, and F&B, supervise night staff, and uphold security and regulatory standards.

You will work independently in a fast-paced environment, resolving guest inquiries and ensuring smooth handovers to day teams. Previous night/recep experience is essential.

• Previous experience in a night operations or reception role within hospitality.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations effectively.
• Knowledge of UK licensing laws and hotel policies related to health, safety, and security.

Assist in conducting revenue checks and ensuring smooth financial handovers to the accounts and reception teams. Provide leadership and support to night staff, promoting a positive and professional working environment. Address guest inquiries and concerns efficiently, contributing to continuous service improvement.

Previous experience in a night operations or reception role within hospitality. Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations effectively. Keen attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
