Job summary

White Stuff is looking for an Assistant Merchandiser to support planning and trading in a fast-paced retail environment. You will collaborate with the Merchandiser to drive seasonal strategies and profitability while maintaining strong stock management and brand alignment.

You will need a keen eye for detail, excellent time management, and strong communication skills to work across in-office and home-based settings. Previous mentoring experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail merchandising planning, forecasting and trading a department.
• Ability to interpret consumer trends and competitive landscape.
• Strong workload management and delegation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Problem solving and teamwork.
• Experience mentoring an Allocator or Merch Admin Assistant preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to departmental Merchandising planning and trading strategy with the customer and brand in mind.
• Support the Merchandiser in developing seasonal departmental strategies for profitability.
• Set up department planning WSSI packs for the season under guidance.
• Plan core business from top line to line card level with Merchandiser support.
• Manage stock levels to align with business needs.
