Job summary

TRP Recruitment is seeking an Assistant Account Manager for a fashion supplier focusing on menswear. The role supports day-to-day management of a key menswear account and requires effective communication with buyers and overseas factories.

Ideal candidates will have menswear experience, especially in jersey, and be highly organised to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with design, production and merchandising teams to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous menswear experience is essential, ideally in a retailer at Assistant Buyer level or within a fashion supplier.
• Strong jersey experience would be highly relevant, with exposure to outerwear, knitwear or denim advantageous.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Commercially aware and confident communicating with buyers, suppliers and internal teams.
• Proactive, reliable and comfortable working in a fast-paced account management environment.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Account Manager with the day-to-day running of the account.
• Managing and monitoring the critical path to ensure key deadlines are achieved.
• Liaising with buyers on a daily basis and responding to queries and requests.
• Working closely with factories in Bangladesh and Turkey to ensure product development and production remain on track.
• Supporting general account operations and ensuring all actions are progressed to deadline.
• Attending customer meetings alongside the Account Manager.
• Following up after meetings and actioning agreed points across internal teams and suppliers.
• Working closely with wider design, production and merchandising teams to support the smooth running of the account.
