Job summary

TRP Recruitment Limited is seeking an Assistant Account Manager for a fashion supplier, focused on the Mens and Boys division in Greater London. You will support the day-to-day management of a key menswear account, liaising with buyers and overseas factories to keep development and production on track.

The role requires strong menswear experience and excellent organisational and communication skills to thrive in a fast-paced account management environment.

Qualifications

• Previous menswear experience is essential, ideally gained within a retailer at Assistant Buyer level or within a fashion supplier.
• Strong jersey experience would be highly relevant, with additional exposure to outerwear, knitwear or denim advantageous.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Commercially aware and confident communicating with buyers, suppliers and internal teams.
• Proactive, reliable and comfortable working in a fast-paced account management environment.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Account Manager with the day-to-day running of the account.
• Managing and monitoring the critical path to ensure key deadlines are achieved.
• Liaising with buyers on a daily basis and responding to queries and requests.
• Working closely with factories in Bangladesh and Turkey to ensure product development and production remain on track.
• Supporting general account operations and ensuring all actions are progressed to deadline.
• Attending customer meetings alongside the Account Manager.
• Following up after meetings and actioning agreed points across internal teams and suppliers.
• Working closely with wider design, production and merchandising teams to support the smooth running of the account.
