Job summary

Build Recruitment is partnered with a Plymouth-based team to appoint an Assistant Mechanical Project Manager. The role offers a clear progression path and exposure to commercial and industrial mechanical projects, working alongside senior managers and site teams.

You will support planning, delivery and cost control across projects, developing competence and confidence in project management responsibilities within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• A relevant mechanical engineering or construction qualification.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the management and delivery of mechanical projects.

• Monitoring project progress, quality and programme.

Assistant Mechanical Project Manager Plymouth £50,000 – £55,000 DOE plus package Permanent

Build Recruitment are working with an established and growing M&E contractor who are looking to appoint an Assistant Mechanical Project Manager to join their team in Plymouth.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a commercial and industrial mechanical background who is looking to take the next step in their career and develop into a fully-fledged Mechanical Project Manager.

You’ll join an experienced and supportive team, working alongside senior project managers and gaining valuable exposure across the full project lifecycle.

The Role

As an Assistant Mechanical Project Manager, you will support the successful delivery of mechanical projects across commercial and industrial environments.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the management and delivery of mechanical projects.
• Assisting with project planning, programming and coordination.
