Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC is seeking an Assistant Manager at the White Lion, part of Vintage Inns, to support the General Manager and lead a frontline team to deliver excellence in service.

You will motivate colleagues, mentor individuals to reach their best, and help create a warm guest experience across our rural pub estate. Onsite accommodation is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality management and front-line leadership.
• Ability to train and inspire a service team to deliver guest satisfaction.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills to develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Lead and motivate the team to deliver excellent guest experience.
• Mentor individuals to reach their best and maintain service standards.
• Act as Duty Manager when required.

• Use your management experience to support the General Manager in the day to day running of the business, being the Duty Manager when they are not around.
