Job summary

Greene King is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our pub management team. You will help run busy shifts, lead by example, and ensure customers enjoy great experiences while supporting the General Manager in daily operations.

You will champion brand standards, mentor staff, and maintain high safety and allergen controls. This role requires strong communication and leadership, and offers career development within Greene King pubs.

Qualifications

• Lead the day to day operations in the absence of the General Manager.
• Deliver exceptional experiences for customers and uphold brand standards.
• Mentor the team with training and development to improve performance.
• Promote customer and team safety and maintain high brand integrity.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in the day to day running of the business and leading the business in their absence.
• Bring our brand to life by leading the team in delivering amazing experiences for our customers.
• Act as a role model for the team and support with training and development.
• Be a champion of brand standards & ensure customer & team safety at all times.
• You'll be great with people, and as a result, have great communication and leadership skills making sure you get the best out of people.
• An ability to think on your feet and adapt to whatever challenges arise during a busy shift.
• A keen eye for every small detail and a desire to uphold high standards in all that you do.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.
