Job summary

The Inn Collection Group is seeking an Assistant Manager for a charming inn at Coniston Water in the Lake District. You will work with the General Manager to run daily operations, lead a front- and back-of-house team, and deliver warm, guest-focused service in a busy, high-standard hospitality environment.

You’ll manage shifts, coordinate with Chefs, Management, and Suppliers, and take on stock and administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in food and hospitality environments.
• Ability to lead a team and deliver guest-first service.
• Strong communication with colleagues and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations and manage the inn in partnership with the General Manager.
• Oversee shifts, mentor staff, and ensure company standards are met.
• Handle admin tasks, stock, orders, and supplier liaison.
• Support accounts tasks and guest responses, including sleepover needs.
