Apex Group, a global leader in accounting and financial reporting, invites an Assistant Manager to join the Accounting & Financial Reporting team in Reading. You’ll own delivery for a portfolio of clients, lead junior staff across locations, and provide technical accounting guidance to resolve complex queries.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery for a portfolio of clients, including monthly management accounts
• Lead and review work from junior team members across global service centres
• Provide technical accounting guidance and support complex client queries
• Oversee payments, reporting, and key financial processes
• Manage year-end deliverables including financial statements (UK GAAP and IFRS)
• Coordinate with auditors and internal teams to meet deadlines
• Support tax compliance (VAT, Corporation Tax, P11Ds, PSA)
• Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities for growth
