Job summary

TMF Group is seeking a Funds Services Assistant Manager in Jersey to deliver high-quality corporate governance and company secretarial services for a portfolio of fund clients. You will manage board matters, draft minutes, and support complex transactions while building strong client relationships.

You will also mentor junior team members, contribute to regulatory compliance matters, and help ensure seamless service delivery across the TMF offices worldwide while maintaining exceptional

Qualifications

• Ideally 5+ years of experience within a Funds environment.
• Previous people management experience is highly desirable.
• Strong client relationship management and service delivery focus.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Knowledge of company secretarial, accounting, audit, and cash management.
• Understanding of commercial, legal, regulatory, and operational principles.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems.

Responsibilities

• Attend and document board and shareholder meetings, including minute-taking and filing.
• Draft minutes and written resolutions for boards and shareholders.
• Validate statutory registers and oversee liquidations and dissolution.
• Support onboarding of new client entities through the Business Acceptance Committee.
• Mentor junior team members and identify development opportunities.

As a Funds Services, Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality corporate governance and company secretarial services to a portfolio of fund clients. You will manage board and shareholder matters, support complex corporate transactions, build strong client relationships, and act as a trusted advisor on compliance and regulatory requirements. In addition, you will contribute to the development of junior team members while ensuring exceptional service delivery and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend and document board and shareholder meetings, including minute-taking, drafting, circulation, approval, and filing
• Draft board and shareholder minutes, as well as written resolutions
• Validate and sign off statutory registers
• Manage company liquidation and dissolution processes
• Oversee the establishment and termination of limited partnerships
• Support the onboarding of new client entities through the Business Acceptance Committee
• Build strong relationships with key client contacts through regular communication and timely task delivery
• Attend client meetings, including visits to client offices when required
• Liaise with clients and advisors on complex compliance and accounting matters
• Supervisor and mentor junior team members
• Identify and support development opportunities for administrators and trainees

Key Requirements

• Ideally 5+ years of experience within a Funds environment
